Dr. Mario R. Delos Reyes, President and Chief Executive Officer, Centre for Neighbourhood Studies (CeNS), Philippines
Professor Mario R. Delos Reyes is the International Co-Investigator and In-Country Lead Investigator for the Philippines of the GCRF Centre for Sustainable, Healthy, and Learning Cities and Neighborhoods, a project supported by the Global Challenges Research Fund of UK Research and Innovation.
Dr. Delos Reyes is the Dean of the University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning (UP SURP), and the President of the UP Planning and Development Research Foundation, Inc. (PLANADES). His research interests and experiences include environmental and natural resources policy and planning, climate change adaptation and disaster risk management, public-private partnerships for the urban environment, and biodiversity-focused strategic environmental assessment.
He is also currently the Asia-Pacific Representative of the Steering Committee for the Habitat Partner Universities Initiative (UNI), and the Advisory Board member of the UN HABITAT Philippines. He is a member of the Regional Development Council for Metro Manila representing the academe.
